Introduction
Double-entry accounting software for a study-abroad agency that places students at foreign universities and earns commission. It records, posts and reports every financial transaction the agency makes.
The problem
The agency earns commission from universities in their own currencies, charges students service fees, pays counselors and sub-agents, and sometimes holds tuition money that belongs to a university. Keeping those streams apart, in one base currency, needs proper accounting rather than spreadsheets.
Our solution
Standard double-entry accounting: voucher types, control accounts with subsidiary ledgers, accounting periods that lock, and statutory financial statements. Posted entries are never edited; corrections are reversals, credit notes or debit notes, and the database itself refuses unbalanced or altered postings.
